The sun has been shining over the last couple of weeks, and in Gerrards Cross, it had hit a high of 25 degrees! What better way to spend our Friday, than to continue our healthy food challenge, this time hosted by Marino, our Structural Engineer and Laura, our Interior Architect. It wasn’t a coincidence that our two Spanish colleagues decided to pair up, and without a doubt, the theme was:
Marino and Laura made a wide range of food, starting with delicious macarones con chorizo (pasta with chorizo), tortilla de patata (Spanish omelette) and pan tumaca (bread with tomato). Not forgetting our vegetarian colleagues, macarones con champinones (pasta with mushrooms) were also part of the delicious menu. To complete the Spanish theme, we had Sangria with our food (a little amount of alcohol on a Friday is allowed!)
These events are a time for us to get together as a team however busy we get in the office. We all look forward to these Landmark lunches and this was one of the best lunches we have had. To say thank you, everyone in the office helped in some way to tidy up, including ensuring all recycling was taken out (we are very keen on the environment here at Landmark). We look forward to seeing what the next pair will bring to the table!
